I’m loving everything that ties! Blame it on the 70’s vibe. Whatever it is, it is flattering, fresh, and a new take on the traditional blouse. Thankfully, this neck tie blouse has the tie attached because God knows I would lose it!

Marc Jacobs once relayed, “To me, clothing is a form of self-expression, there are hints of who you are in what you wear.” I tend to agree. For me, what I put on or style for someone else, is always an expression of creativity and artistry. Thank God for this outlet!

Have you ever wondered what to do with all those off the shoulder dresses and blouses you’ve accumulated? I’m obviously a huge fan if you follow me on Instagram, but a bigger fan of some alternate styling tips such as pairing it with a military green vest. Viola! A super easy look that works with a little game of basketball on the deck with my 5 year old, (minus the heel, thanks grandma for the mini hoop!) and planning father’s day weekend. Now I ask you, what do you want your clothes to say about you?

I usually shy away from hats. I’m not one hundred percent sure why, but I do. However, a trip to the dermatologist and a peek at Janessa Leone’s new line will have you jumping online to nab one yourself. As for black hats, I had an old favorite lying around so I paired it with a rust cold shoulder top and black flares. And did I mention the top is only $38 and also comes in ivory? A quick summer date night outfit with some SPF 30 broad spectrum to boot. Summer has officially begun.

Here I’m wearing a new favorite graphic blazer, slouchy tee, cropped jeans and can’t-stop-wearing lace up heeled sandals. Don’t judge. Get your own and you’ll do the same. Margaret and Katherine Kleveland had a mission to provide responsibly-sourced high fashion pieces at attainable prices, which seems almost like a misnomer. But they manage to pull it off, with most of their gorgeous items under $200. Their vibe is very California-cool with loose, flattering pieces that fit most, if not all, body types. I’m already eyeing THIS blouse. They also sell children’s ponchos that are sure to be drool-worthy on any toddler. And I kind of love supporting moms doing what they love, especially if they are genius at it. DÔEN HERE
