What better time to hit refresh and switch up the ol’ routine than Spring? And it being officially Spring tomorrow, I thought I’d share 7 ways we keep it somewhat healthy around here, leaving ample room for a donut (or two) on the weekend. Please share your tips, I’m all ears!

7 Ways to Kick off Spring


1. Drink H20. Sounds simple but it gives me more energy and my skin looks better.

2. Eat fermented. I’m addicted to kombucha and sauerkraut. No joke.

3. Juice it. Our favorite recipe? Coconut water, kale, frozen pineapple, tumeric, and whatever fruit we have lying around. Yum.

4. Essential oils such as lavender for calming. Stay tuned for more on this!

5. Practice thankfulness. Write thank you notes. Acknowledge acts of kindness. It changes your attitude!

6. Take vitamin D, because its the one vitamin to not be deficient in. It’s also cancer fighting. Especially those of us in Chicago, ha!

7. Listen to quality audio in the car. These songs and stories are seriously stuck in my head. Check out: Songs for Saplings, and Chronicles of Narnia.
