Update on Reid

A quick update on Reid. Many people assume that if I’m not talking about the cancer, it must be gone. I wish that were the case, but unfortunately it isn’t.

We’re still seeing tumor presence in his liver, and his CEA tumor marker remains elevated. His energy has fluctuated quite a bit, largely due to low hemoglobin levels. On top of that, he’s recovering from two broken hips from a ski accident and is still walking with a limp.

Recently, his PET scan showed two new tumors in the liver, so we find ourselves in another season of waiting—waiting for appointments, waiting for answers, and anticipating a new treatment plan.

I won’t pretend this season is easy. Every day is a choice to look for God’s goodness, to remain hopeful, and to trust Him in the middle of the unknown. Some days that comes naturally, and some days it takes intentional effort. The uncertainty can feel heavy, but we've seen God's faithfulness too many times to stop trusting Him now.

We would be so grateful for your prayers—for healing, strength, wisdom, peace, and clarity as we navigate the road ahead. Thank you for continuing to walk alongside our family through this journey. Your prayers, messages, and encouragement mean more than you know. 🤍
