My parents took the kids and gave us a couple days off. So we did what normal parents do, go to dinner at that ribs place by our house and fall asleep at 8pm. While I’d like to admit I cleaned and organized the house, it happened to look worse than when the kids were gone. Oh well. But I was able to show up at appointments (sort of on time), hit the gym (with the husband at the ungodly hour of 4:30AM), and eat all the sea salt dark chocolate without interruption. Bliss. Speaking of, this was my look for Mexican dinner out. Bow crops, lemon pumps, and a tee. Because my skinny jean needed some competition and the bow is just the right feminine nod to Valentine’s Day. And whoever said distance makes the heart grow fonder was a parent, who got some time off and returned to their kids with the biggest hugs and kisses. And frankly, after a long week, that’s all the Valentine gifts I really need.
But I’d still take a watch if he surprised me 🙂
