Every girl’s gotta have that go-to little white dress, am I right? What really sealed the deal for me with this one? It’s got a built-in bra – talk about convenience! It’s the ultimate grab-and-go number, whether you’re heading for a romantic date night, a baby shower bash, or just a fun girls’ night out!

So, picture this: you slip into that chic white number, feeling all kinds of fabulous. And to kick it up a notch, I’m talking clear heels for that leg-lengthening effect, aviator shades for that extra dose of cool, and oh, let’s not forget the trusty midi Demellier bag – seriously, it’s practically glued to my side, a true wardrobe staple!

Where wouldn’t you wear it, right?

Have you heard of Lifeforce? It’s a game changer.

I met with my functional life force doctor yesterday. We reviewed the results of my recent lab tests, comparing them side by side with those taken three months ago. Many of the metrics showed improvement, while some remained unchanged and others did not. This experience has been incredibly enlightening in terms of understanding my body better.

I’ve been delving deeply into the realm of hormones, exploring how to support them and the consequences of neglecting their needs. In short, the repercussions can be dire! To address my low hormone levels, particularly progesterone and testosterone, I’ve incorporated low-dose supplementation into my daily routine. Low levels of these hormones can significantly impact energy levels, libido, and overall vitality. Notably, symptoms such as headaches and fatigue often signal insufficient progesterone. Have you ever checked your hormone levels?

Personally, I’ve found that regular consultations with a functional doctor and diligent monitoring of my lab results every three months have been immensely beneficial. This approach has not only educated me about health matters but has also addressed issues like headaches and sleep disturbances. Did you know that they analyze over 40 essential biomarkers? Perhaps this could also be beneficial for you. Don’t hesitate to take action for your health. You can sign up for LIFEFORCE here.

So, get this—our anniversary getaway? We went all out and booked a drumroll 1-star hotel. Crazy, right?

Reid and I are total design junkies, always on the lookout for inspiration. And let me tell you, we hit the jackpot this time. Now, let’s break it down—pros and cons and all.

You know how it goes—a weekend away unveils your must-haves. For me, it’s my trusty trench coat and those life-saving digestive enzymes. But, darn it, I left both back home this time around. Murphy’s law, I guess! I’ll delve into the Pro’s and Con’s below:

Pros

Restaurant downstairs was amazing

Opened in January so not many know about it

Coffee in the AM and cocktail at night were complimentary

Cons

No full length mirror

Room was small

The room lacked lighting at seated areas

Despite the 1-star rating and the somewhat snug room, we had an unexpectedly fantastic time. They converted an old firehouse in the Art’s District of DTLA into a hip Japanese inspired 6 room hotel. Funny enough, we shot a flower campaign in front of it when it was an old abandoned firehouse! See the pics HERE, the kids were SO YOUNG! Love how many memories we have around LA.

Reid and I would easily rate it a solid 4 out of 5. The restaurant downstairs was an absolute gem. Reid’s choice, the prime rib, was like butter with a crispy garlic topping—pure heaven! As for me, I couldn’t get enough of the miso-glazed Brussels sprouts; they were so divine that when Harmony, our server, swung by to check on us, I was practically speechless, lost in Brussels sprout bliss.

I had a friend this week ask me for a link for the best light coverage creams, preferably with SPF. To be honest, looking for a decent tinted moisturizer can be as tricky as finding that one needle in a haystack. Imagine strolling into Sephora, bombarded by a mix of overpowering perfumes and little kids testing out everything in sight. Not exactly a peaceful scene, huh? Before you brave the chaos of Sephora or dive into the online jungle (which happens to be my go-to), let me give you the lowdown. I’ll spill the beans on some of my all-time favorite tinted moisturizers that have been my ride-or-dies for years. So, what do you reckon? Any favorites you swear by? Let’s chat!

Saie Beauty SPF 35 tinted moisturizer is super lightweight, glowy and maybe better on top of another foundation. My teens love this one.

Super Goop Glow screen sunscreen acts as a primer. Has SPF 40 – light to medium coverage. I wore this one for a whole year! I always kept it in my purse.

Tarte BB blur tinted moisturizer cream has SPF 30 – I haven’t tried this one, but it has 1600 reviews at an average of 4.7 stars. It’s creamy and smooth, medium buildable, and natural matte coverage.

ILIA clean and medium to full coverage I love this one and feels good and nourishing on the skin.

Bonus (Not a tinted moisturizer but worth mentioning) Tarte shape tape I mix two colors for medium coverage, 5N and a dark one 53N for contouring.

white jeans, peasant top

trench coat, peasant top, red vintage suede skirt

On a cloudy day in Highland Park, we snapped some shots of three different looks. I rocked those Dr. Scholl’s original sandals in three different colors, paired with three different outfits. I was just itching for a reason to strut around in my ultra-flared flares from FRAME. What do you think? Loads of DMs and comments said they were digging the red sandals with the black jeans and leather jacket the most. I also mixed it up by pairing the white sandals with an extra-long trench and a vintage red suede skirt. Pretty cool, huh? I’m all about blending new pieces with old classics. It’s awesome how throwing in a vintage item can give your outfit that timeless vibe, don’t you think? And for the black sandals, I went all out with an all-white ensemble, channeling my inner Jane Shrimpton. Honestly, I’m stoked the rain held off long enough for us to snap all the shots. So, which look do you vibe with the most?

Rocking denim on denim? Keep it simple: stick to similar or complementary shades. Check out this Canadian tuxedo vibe I’m rocking – paired with a sheer trench and a bold pop of red up top. What’s your take on it?

Feeling that spring fever, I spruced up our living room with some stunning faux cherry blossoms. Ever heard of AFLORAL? Their blooms are unbelievably realistic. Walking into the living room now, it’s like a burst of spring every time.

How I styled Faux fur

Faux Fur UNREAL FUR // Bag DEMELLIER midi in white // Pumps ANN TAYLOR // JEANS reviews say get your true size, I got my true size 26. // $17 Tank size small // similar SUNGLASSES

I’ve been noticing a surge in faux fur lately, prompting me to grab one for myself as soon as possible! I recently purchased a snow fox faux fur coat from Revolve that looks incredibly realistic. Their fast shipping is definitely a plus! Opting for a casual yet refined aesthetic, I paired it with a chic white bag by Demellier and neutral Ann Taylor pumps. Completing the ensemble, I wore my favorite jeans, which fit true to size and never fail to garner compliments. What do you think?
