Do you drive around and see strip malls with 24hr tanning still operating? I always ask myself, how do these businesses stay open? I did the old spray tan, back in the day. Most likely college! Here are 5 simple steps for Sunless Tanner application:
1) Bathe and exfoliate with body scrub. Recommended scrub here.
2) When skin is dry, apply 3 foam squirts into mit. Recommmended mit here.
3) Apply foam to each area of the body. I start from the neck and work my way down. I apply three squirts of foam to each extremity, typically.
4) Once covered, wash palm of hands with soap thoroughly.
5) Brush your teeth or do your hair while skin dries. Once dry, get dressed and show the world your tan.

Wait 4-6 hours for the glow to show up. One thing Reid and love about it is that it doesn’t bleed onto our sheets. So I can apply the tanning foam after exfoliation in the shower and go to bed without worrying about staining the sheets.

We have a new addition to our home.  A new sectional.  With seven people in our home we are often fighting for seats, so a new sectional was a part of our peace treaty.  When picking out a sectional, keep size and scale in mind.  We’ve discussed this before when we purchased our Pasadena house sectional.  See article here.
For our current home, the space is not large. In Georgia, they call it a Keeping Room. A sectional is a big investment, so study the specs carefully. To make sure the dimensions work for your space, a helpful tip someone gave me is to use blue masking tape on the floor to match the sectional dimensions. It’s a great way to visualize how the sectional will look before it’s delivered. Genius!
In terms of style, I like a modern look with sharp corners and rectangular geometry. I prefer couches that sit off the floor as if it was floating. I also like cushions that are fastened down to keep the kids from having pillow fights.
The color is beige and coordinates with our fireplace stone work and mantle. I LOVE how this room turned out. A perfect marriage of modern and traditional. What do you think?

Today I visited my local Nordstrom with Reid and styled some looks! There were too many florals and print if you ask me so I combed through the selection with a fine tooth comb. Which look is your favorite?
Mother Jeans – have tons of stretch so you can go down a size. I tried on a 26, and 25, and ended up getting a 25.
FRAME dress. Gorgeous shape, sleeves and cut. A must have if it’s not sold out. I got a small/.
Sam Edelman boots I went down half a size since they were sold out of size 9.
L’Agence Flares – I got my true 26
Valentino Belt not included in the NSALE, but its reversible, I’ve worn it more times than I can count and downright chic. Definitely, a worthy investment buy.
Ted Baker Trench – super chic but keep in mind it runs small, I’m wearing a size 1 here.
Pink Nordstrom Suit Pant and Blazer. Sold separately. I got a small in the blazer, size 4 in the pants.
