Universally Flattering Little Red Dress

Wearing red seems a little cliche right now, but I’m loving this new to me shade of red. This shirt dress also comes in a maxi long version but I opted for a shorter version to pair them with tall boots. Have you tried a shirt dress? They’re incredibly flattering for many different body types.

Love this time of year when the tree is up, kids are still playing with their Legos and Reid and I have just enough peace and quiet for a coffee on the patio.

Boxing Day is traditionally celebrated by the servants of the house who have the day off and can go home on ‘Boxing Day’ and give Christmas boxes to their families. We American’s celebrate Boxing Day as a day off for some (like Reid) and a day to make returns. We will spend it playing checkers, working, taking a walk, and eating lots of leftover breakfast casserole.

Family Christmas PJ’s

I’m obsessed with matching family pajamas. These are awesome because they are quality, come in all sizes (minus Levi) and warm for chilly nights! Now is the time to get them, they’re on sale and just before December comes around. Our tradition the day after Thanksgiving is to get our tree (usually a real one), and bring it home to decorate. For dinner, we have french onion soup, fresh bread, and hot chocolate. We settled for store bought bread and ended the night with “It’s a Wonderful Life.‘ I feel truly blessed. It IS a wonderful life! I hope the kids remember these traditions though small for many years to come.
