Sweaters
I’m always surprised how much wear I get out of a good sweater in the summer and how well it transitions into fall. You can’t go wrong with a tank, sweater and jeans. Ever.
Tops
I personally love an interesting tops, because they look great with jeans and that’s all I wear. This bodysuit is uber flattering great under a skirt or jeans.
Shoes
As a stylist, I always encourage my clients to invest in “investment buys.” Well made shoes fit into that catagory such as Rag & Bone and Stuart Weitzman.
Skirts
I love pairing over the knee boots with skirts for fall. A good suede or leather skirt goes a long way.
Dresses
A love that a dress is one and done and paired easily with a wrap sandal, booties or a pump.
Handbags & Accessories
How cute is this stripe bag? I want to bring it to the farmer’s market tomorrow!
Beauty
Most of these things I already have – so I highly recommend! I’m trying Neulash for the first time as my friend told me its amazing. With so many beauty exclusives this year, it’s a great time to try a new brand or gift a friend.
Home
From sheets to bar carts to a copper poly pillowcase. The pillowcase I’ve heard great things about, these candles make great hostess gifts and I tend to buy sheets a couple times a year, always a plus when its on sale!
Jackets
It may be 91 degrees out, but if you buy now, you’ll thank yourself later. It’s a great time to stock up on a new Fall/Winter jacket.

Today marks the first day for Nordstrom cardholders to shop their annual anniversary sale. So many fall items are on sale from great nude booties to chunky knit sweaters. I’ve been planning all week for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale coming up, who’s excited? I did some pre-sale shopping today and I have to say, this year’s selection is better than last years. I came back home to my Lego loving bunch who make the coolest Lego houses for hours and hours of the day. I love that this outfit is still mom-friendly with wedges, comfy jeans, and a versatile top. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to enjoy MAJOR markdowns on some of your favorite brands. To be honest, it’s one of my favorite times of year to not only get a peak at fall fashion (my favorite) but stock up on investment buys. It is brand new product that you can shop before anyone else. Insert happy dance. Think Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots, the jeans you’ve been eyeing, cashmere cardigans and cute booties. If you are in search of a dress for Friday’s date night and your friend’s wedding, this dress fits the bill. I’m loving that this dress is not only under $60, but looks great with a headscarf and lace-up sandals. Its been so hot here full of that dry dessert heat that I admittedly love, but also love to hate. Nothing better than a light ruffle dress for day dates and nights out to keep cool. I’m loving crochet lately from tanks to tops to dresses and this one is no exception. I’m really thankful for slow date nights catching up over a quiet dinner. We’ve been venturing out to more neighborhoods like Silverlake and loving the vibe. Laid back, artsy, and great coffee shops. And did I mention cool vintage cars? I’m a fan. It’s starting to feel like summer so what’s easier than a summer dress? I love that its only one piece and all you need is shoes to complete the outfit.
