Drape trench // Tote // Cheeky Jeans (tts) // Stripe Boxy Top // Bodysuit top // Pointy toe flats // Day glove flat //

I’m so First impressions, everything out of the box was SO soft. The trench, bodysuits, and tops are all soft to the touch and very wearable.
The tote is structured and quality. I’ve own a lot of totes and this one holds its shape with absolutely no slouch! Love that. It is the perfect work bag with laptop and small interior pocket or mom bag.
The rust bodysuit is soft, 3/4 sleeve and flattering scoop neck. I styled it simply with jeans, trench, tote and scarf. Its runs true to size, is 92% cotton, 8% elastane, a curve hugging fit and snap closure. Quality classic pieces don’t need a lot of styling.
I’ve been wanting this stripe boxy top forever, so I’m happy to finally get my hands on it! At first impression, you think why would a boxy top be flattering, but it totally is! It has a loose boxy fit so it actually makes your hips look more more narrow. Definitely put this one on the short list!
The pointy toe knit flats mold to your feet. They can be spot cleaned and get better with time. I ordered the color “coral.”
The day glove flat in “caramel” is the perfect on the go flat that looks cute with jeans or a pencil skirt.
Don’t forget the cheeky jeans for that mom date, much needed picnic, or solo coffee run. I love a comfy jean that fits well, has a raw hem, fits true to size and is a 100% cotton vintage inspired look.

My husband said, after our last trip to NYC in June. I just saw this girl wearing the coolest trench. I asked him later what it looked like and he said it was distressed denim.

That night in our hotel, I searched high and low for one. Believe me, it wasn’t easy. I finally found one on the Barney’s site from NSF. I now found close to the exact HERE. I want to think its the most versatile item in my closet right now!

Goes with everything and very flattering. I mean, anything belted is flattering! What do you think?

My shop page is open 24/7 and you can always shop my everyday on my blog page and on the Liketoknow.it app!

Day Heels in Red // Georgette Top (I got a size 38 a US6, one size bigger than usual bc they were almost sold out but I liked how flowy it was) // Jeans // Sunglasses (20% off!)// Turquoise earrings // Simillar Chloe Bag

Nearly four thousand reviews do not lie. These Day Heels are 5 star: comfy, buttery soft, and chic. And just when I thought that wasn’t possible!

The elasticized back allows movement and no blisters. I’ve worn these for hours and no blisters. I always want a heel without pain. Especially on days I am mostly on my feet or running to meetings on the west side.

Here I styled the red day heel with a leopard billowy top, skinny jeans, and small Chloe Faye bag for date night but stay tuned as I’m not done with these babies yet.

How would you style the red day heels?

8 Blogging Tips

trench worn in small // polka dot camisole from Express here is similar and similar // red day heels in size 9 (TTS so comfy!) // shorts // jeans // turquoise ring (similar)

1 // CONSISTENCY Post and write daily // Tell your audience what to expect and follow through.

2 // COLLABORATION Together we are stronger, do not shy away from partnering with a like minded bloggers. I once did a shoot with another fashion blogger, Sheryl from Walk in Wonderland and it was so fun! We shared each other on our blogs. Remember, collaboration over competition.

3 // BRANDING Think of your blog as your brand. Sit down and wrote down what your brand is about in 5 sentences.

4 // KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE Study you analytics, straight out ask them. Watch youtube videos on how to find your super power. Ask yourself what is something I know that no one else does or does as well as I do? Am I story telling? In marketing 101, we learn nothing is sold by just sharing facts. You must use story telling to sell your product. Are you telling your story and if so, how is your audience responding?

5 // JUST DO IT Not to sound cliché, but running a business is equal parts heart and head. Go outside the norm, challenge yourself. Do something that makes you scared. My college professor once said boldly, “Take holy risks.” I haven’t forgotten it.

6 // WORK HARDER AND SMARTER // Hustle, work until the work is done, make lists, and delegate. If you’re not good editing, find someone who is! Another pair of eyes is always helpful. I have a virtual assistant who is SO HELPFUL. Many days I wear many hats, from styling, creative directing, modeling to administration. All of it. You get the point! Don’t be afraid to jump in. If there is something you’re not an expert in, google it, and find someone who is. Don’t be afraid to reach out to another blogger. Collaborate! We all have separate gifts.

7 // STAY THE COURSE Slow and steady won the race.

8 // TEACH YOURSELF NEW THINGS, from hair braiding to coding to photoshop to video editing. A successful entrepreneur is ALWAYS learning.

Any tips you have? I’d love to hear.

Happy Thursday!

LA has been feeling a lot like NYC lately and I’m not complaining. The days are cool-ish, slightly overcast, and oh-so-cozy. I’ll take any excuse to layer – preferably with a sweatshirt dress and leather jacket. Both of which work for date night. I’m all about an effortless (i.e. 5 minute) look because life is busy and once that sitter is through the door, so am I. I know I said “cozy” … but definitely try and stay away from the Christmas print flannels and oversize college sweatshirts. Instead, it’s all about balancing luxe details (like a leather jacket) with cozy basics (like this sweatshirt pullover) that fit and feel perfect.
