Most of you know that I’ve been a Misa Los Angeles fan for a LONG time. What’s not to love about this dress. It has a killer pattern, bell sleeves, and perfect length to wear with pumps or boots. Did I mention that it also works great with a denim jacket? Well, it does. If you see me at Gjelina in Venice wearing it, say hi.

I’m back home from SF – a 48 hr trip I’ll share more on later. I’m ready as ever to take on a semi-lazy weekend. In addition to a soccer game and meeting to Beverly Hills, I’ll be  wearing these leopard booties to date night. It is no surprise, leopard booties are on the must have list this season and I’ve rounded up ones from every price point. From low heel to high heel, $119 to $204, there’s one for everyone. I’m in the midst of putting together a fall must have collection of only a max of ten items to show you guys and a blazer is among the must haves for fall. While it’s still an 80 degree fall in SoCal, you can still dress up shorts with a blazer and chic heels. EXPRESS One Fall Must Have

If you’re in search of one fall must have, it’s a suede jacket! This one has the perfect dark camel hue and a great fitting cut (I recommend sizing up). I love it paired with these sailor shorts from EXPRESS. And don’t forget booties or block heels. This outfit is the perfect transition outfit for those in the warmer climates experiencing an Indian summer but need a cozy covering for evenings.

shalice-168I also plan on wearing this suede jacket with a knit turtleneck sweater for our next trip to Big Bear. It’s so funny how excited us Chicagoans are to travel to the cold regions of California. The kids keep asking when we can see snow. I distinctly remember thinking bad thoughts about the minus nineteen-degree winter that came every winter in Chicago … and yet.
