I’ve been noticing a surge in faux fur lately, prompting me to grab one for myself as soon as possible! I recently purchased a snow fox faux fur coat from Revolve that looks incredibly realistic. Their fast shipping is definitely a plus! Opting for a casual yet refined aesthetic, I paired it with a chic white bag by Demellier and neutral Ann Taylor pumps. Completing the ensemble, I wore my favorite jeans, which fit true to size and never fail to garner compliments. What do you think?

Nordic Boots on Sale!

Happy Veterans Day! We’re enjoying a balmy 37 degree day in Omaha with my in-laws. My kids interviewed my dad and father-in-law about serving in the military and air force, respectively. I thought it was a cool assignment for them, and meaningful one for me. It reminded me how grateful I am for their service.

Today I’m wearing spanx (size up) a tan hoodie (fall must-have) faux fur coat (under $80!) and my favorite Nordic boots! I’ve had these boots for 3 years and I STILL LOVE THEM.

The weather in Socal dipped to a chilly 40’s here in Socal so you can guess I’m embracing all the layers. Who knew we didn’t have to leave for Lake Arrowhead to enjoy all the layers. I kinda love it although our house is not insulated for the chilly weather, the sun that comes up around 11-12pm is most welcome! This coat is so good, even the texture feels real – not faux – it’s that good. Also I’m just loving the colors paired with olive and faux fur boots. What do you think? We’re laying low this weekend, and I’m super excited about watching the holiday and drinking malts.

One Coat to Spice Things Up

Sometimes you need one coat in your closet to spice things up. Well, this is it. I’m loving this combo – lots of gray (preferably off the shoulder and cozy) and multi-colored faux fur. Even though I cannot wear this coat past 11 o’clock or so in LA, I make the most of it. This sweater is lightweight and perfect for layering. For Christmas, I just wanna get all my sisters sweaters because they are so good. I hope you are more ahead on the Christmas cards and gifts than I am. 5 Faux Fur I’m crushing on with Nordstrom

I partnered with Nordstrom to share some holiday outfit inspiration, minus the ugly sweater. I’m currently loving this ruffle bodysuit (great sizing), faux fur and a pop of red clutch. Nordstrom has been offering some awesome faux fur options for the holiday season from cobalt to brown. Despite being faux, their jackets look like real fur and it bumps up the chic level for almost any outfit. For example, I would also would wear it over this slip dress. So chic.

Don’t forget there’s in-store pick up for those days you’re running behind. Oh wait, that’s everyday. There’s nothing better than picking up a bag of goodies already paid for, no lines, and no worries. It’s been a busy week with family in town, so I will try out the Nordstrom pick -up option, bring one of my kids, get hot chocolate and call it a date! Hope you have a lovely weekend.
