by Shalice Noel

1. CHUNKY KNIT SWEATER (this one is $59)

2. FLATTERING JEANS (we don’t have time for anything besides)

3. STATEMENT EARRINGS (I prefer chandelier and lightweight)

4. LEOPARD BOOTIES

Bonus Beauty Must-haves: As the weather changes, so should our beauty routine! I’ve been upping the moisture on my face, using a deep conditioning mask on my hair (I’ve been using this one), still wearing SPF (I use this one as a primer before my makeup), don’t forget a quality serum (I’m loving RESET) and loving the results from my facial dry brush exfoliation! See below what I’ve been using recently!

Please share any of your favorites?

Ps Don’t forget our post on our A Frame – Airbnb weekends still avail and my SHOP PAGE is open 24/7!

HAIR MASK // SPF // SERUM // DRY BRUSH (face moisture and belly rub shea butter also linked below!)

Gray boots are the first and favorite things to bust out at the first day of fall. They’re flattering and crazy versatile. I try and buy a new pair at the beginning of the season so I ensure I get my size 9!

Those following me for a while know I love a versatile gray dress and this one is NO EXCEPTION. I wear it dressed up or down and the tulip hem is crazy flattering! See some more of my faves:

Leopard Scarves are some of the best subtle ways to get a lot of pop for the price. Many of them are under $30, and I love them styled tied onto a purse.

I love how a gray bag is the cherry on top of a chic gray monochrome look.

I get so many compliments when I wear a gray coat – here are 4 faves:

Nordstrom never disappoints. From their stellar customer service, awesome online selection, and quick shipment options (hello curbside pick-up), it’s hard not to pick favorites. Since I’m due to welcome baby boy any day now, I opted for a fitted and flattering dress I’ve had on repeat. I added a leopard scarf, gray layer coat, and gray bag for an overall classic monochrome look. Stay tuned for baby news and more favorites from Nordstrom.

Boots // Reversible kimono // $10 Tank // Levi’s Vintage Cutoffs Similar

Boots  // Black cami // Black denim skirt // Kimono

If dressing the bump has taught me anything, it’s invest in those flattering ever so basic basics that will carry you through 0-9 months. If you study my feed, you will notice a lot of monochrome layers, tanks over cutoffs, etc. Recently, I wore, a kimono with a black cami and black denim skirt. It’s a flattering way to feature a print. And speaking of flattering, whether you’re pregnant, planning on getting pregnant, or just want to simply better dress to flatter your shape and size, read on.

Here are my top tanks and camis in black and white! Also this one is nursing/maternity friendly and this one is on sale for $13!

Cutoffs and good denim are great options with tanks. I wear mine with a bella band.

Where do you get some of your favorite tanks? Do tell! Happy Weekend!

Blue Teddy Coat (sold out at press time) similar // Gray Dress // GGB Sneakers // Sunglasses

It’s no secret, I’m loving teddy coats and this one in baby blue is no exception. Although it sold out, I’m hoping they’re re-stock, but no worries, I included similar. I ordered this robe for the hospital, it will get dirty so $35 is right up my alley. The dress I’m wearing is only $56 and worth every penny. These sneakers are worth the splurge but I had to size up. And just may wear them to today’s doctor appointment. You need sneakers when you have 4 little people with you at all times. Can you say momlife? And when in doubt, I pull out an ice roller for puffy eyes and Chloe sunnies!

Happy Friday EVE!

1. Reset Oil-in-Serum (I use this at night and yes it makes crows feet appear less visable. Try for yourself!) //2. Immortelle Divine Cream // 3. Immortelle Divine Eyes (the skin under our eyes is the thinnest, so to avoid wrinkles I apply this stuff!) 4. Immortelle Divine Youth Oil (I used this day and night until Reset Oil was introduced. Now, I use youth oil in the AM, and Reset in the PM. It makes my skin feel amazing!) 5. Immortelle Oil Make-up Remover (just that, I use it to remove my makeup!) 6. Immortelle Precious Mist LA is SO dry, so I like to spray this as much as I can after my cleansing routine and as a make-up setting spray.

I’m wearing Yumi Kim kimono similar in a DRESS VERSION // Levis cutoffs SIMILAR worn with a BELLA BAND// White BP tank // Cowboy boots

Early Saturday morning Reid and I and headed to The Grove to see the L’Occitane truck. Did you hear about it? It was soo adorable. It was this real vintage truck painted yellow. Nick from L’Occitane was there to share that this truck is a nod to their early beginnings when Olivier Baussan, a soap maker who in 1976 used a truck to sell his freshly milled soaps in the south of France.

What did the truck hold you ask? It was stuffed with their customer favorites as well as Christmas preview stocking stuffers! I picked up some of those very charming stocking stuffers for my mom and spritzed myself off during the heat of the LA sun.

I loved seeing some of my faves like the shea butter tin. I use it to lather primarily on dry spots and my belly to avoid stretch marks. I also spotted another one of my
favorites—the Reset Oil-in-Serum! One of the things L’Occitane does well is to not discontinue great products. It’s my pet peeve when companies end a good product.

I love that this charming truck is a nod to the company’s humble beginnings. It shared the basics that would change the way we wash our face and moisturize our bodies, the French way. Do yourself a favor if you’re in LA, and do not miss this charming truck and pick up a gift from Provence for your friends and yourself. 🙂 It’s there till the end of October.

Read more here about where the L’Occitruck is off to next!

Shop some of my favorites below like the shea butter that I lather on my belly 😉

Today is all about swimwear and getting ready for vacation! Even with a baby on board, I love going to the beach or spending time at the pool with the family. I like to keep things as comfortable as possible, so today I’ve linked everything from cover-ups to stylish one-pieces and a high waist bikini.
SinceI got the sweetest DM from a reader who requested some tips for shopping for swimwear for her upcoming girls trip, I compiled some fail-safe tips for choosing the most flattering style for your body—read along!
1. For curvier types, opt for color blocking, retro suits (embrace the high waist) and stripes! I’m loving this high waisted suit from DVF // this one in peach crochet // stripe high waist // or pink with tassels!
2. For a small bust, opt for a deep V, bold prints and ruffles. I have this in white and its super flattering and gives shape to a smaller bust size. One pieces can be really flattering and I love the scallop detail.
More One Pieces:
3. As for a large bust, go for molded cups and higher backs for support.
4. For athletic frames, opt for tops and bottoms with bold prints, cutout one-piece suits, gingham, and one-shoulder for that flattering look.
When in doubt, go for a black one-piece suit. It’s an overall flattering cut and color for almost any shape and size.
Shop some cute sunglasses:
P.S. Don’t forget the swim cover!
Thank you QVC for compensating me for this blog post. All opinions my own.
You probably know by now that I’m a big Vince Camuto fan. I’ve written about 7 Vince Camuto faves for 7 days a week, I’m obsessed with their fragrance, which I wrote about here and here, but they also have some amazing new pieces coming out for fall. The best part? You can find them on QVC! If you’ve never shopped on QVC before, now is the time to give it a try. My favorite part of shopping with them is the super easy ordering, speedy shipping, and payment option plans. Does it get any better than that? Especially when you don’t always have time to run to the mall or a department store. I love it!

And now on to the Vince Camuto finds! They’re going to be featuring some great fall basics. My favorite things so far are these booties. There are a couple ankle cut suede options I have my eye on that I know will go perfectly with so many things in my closet. I’m also loving a pair of peep toe booties, which I think are the perfect transition shoe to take you from summer to fall. You’ll also see some beautiful handbags in darker colors, which of course is ideal going into autumn and eventually winter. What pieces are you looking to add to your closet for fall?

Naming #5 was NOT easy. I repeat. It was a STRETCH to think of a two-syllable name that would sound good with his four siblings. Not to mention all the four critics.
1. KEEP IT A SECRET this is number 1 for a reason. If you don’t want 3 relatives and 2 cousins twice removed opinions, keep the name to yourself.

2. Put all the cards on the table – family names, names you like, religious affiliation, etc. We happened to be reading the Old Testament in devotions and came across LOTS of names we considered for this baby. Its good to see all the names in the open and discuss them.

3.   Have a TOP 10 I know its tempting to have 20 faves, but try and start with 10 and go from there. Our 4th child has three names, so keep 3 if you want!

4. Consider the syllables AND meaning. This child will have to live with this name, maybe forever, so make it easy to say with a positive meaning.

ANNND since we are still waiting on baby #5, I cannot divulge the name, I can however tell you I followed the above steps and you will have to stay tuned!

Speaking of waiting for baby . . . I’m loving this collagen powder that I swear is helping my nails and hair. Also, this ice roller (only $12!) is helping me fake a full night of sleep, this overnight reset oil-in serum, is warding off the wrinkles, and when bored, make PUMPKIN BREAD!
