Have you checked out tjmaxx.com lately? I found so much online and it saves so much time to do other things like wrap gifts and host friends. I grew up going to T.J.Maxx with my mom and sisters. T.J.Maxx has always been a family favorite and overall quality at a great price which is why I was excited to learn I could discover even more amazing finds online! I found coffee table books, a basket for the pool house, a runner rug for the upstairs, and more importantly a puffer with a belt for 38 degree mornings. I love the price points and the fact that I’m not paying full price. See any favorites below. I linked everything here and on my SHOP LTK “shalicenoel.”
Thank you tj maxx for sponsoring this post!

Help, I missed the NuFace sale!!
No worries, here’s one on sale. Your face has muscles and this lifts the face muscles. Do one side at a time. I use the face spray to moisten the face.
I need a jogger that doesn’t look like I gained 20# from Covid, on a budget preferably.
Here! Love these in black, under $50.
Where did you get the $33 winter boots?

Coat and similar // Similar Bootcut Jeans // Men’s Hoodie // Fendi Flip Bag // Western Boots This coat looks like the Moncler or SAM but a fraction of the price! I’m wearing the XS. I didn’t use the finger openings since I have long arms. I like the warmth and overall construction of the coat.
I’ll list my 5 goals for 2021 below, but first . . . .
We’re working on something new! Hopefully we’ll roll it out January 30 and I honestly can’t wait to show you guys! Reid and I are having so much fun putting this project together and we hope you love it too!
Thank YOU for your invaluable support of my corner of the internet. 2021 will be full of pieces I’ve LOVED and styled MANY times for easy dressing as busy moms, career women, and everything in between. As usual, it’s all about looking as beautiful as possible while keeping it as simple as possible. Here’s to 2021!

2 Sleeps till Christmas and the kids are pumped! While the to-do list piles up, I’m keeping my wardrobe simple. I styled a hoodie on sale for $34, wearing a size small, two ways for you girls. I love versatile pieces under $35, total score. Atalie said today, “wow mom, it’s as soft as Levi’s cheeks!”
I took a poll on Instagram and look at the interesting results!
Puffer with hood (wearing a medium) // Puffer with faux fur, Moncler (wearing a small)// Spanx
Moncler Flumarus Lacque Fox Fur-Trim Quilted Down Coat
PROS: looks so chic, love the tailored fit, fur trim hood, quality. CONS: price, may have to size up,
Sam Edelman Hooded Puffer Jacket
PROS: economically priced, has a shiny sporty look, and has a hood CONS: not as tailored a fit and no fur trim.
I was curious to test out two puffers with totally different price point for my cold weather girls. While it is NOT coat weather here in SOCAL, it is fun to put one on and head up to Lake Arrowhead. Meanwhile, I styled both coats for you to decide which is your favorite.
Let me know in the comments which is your favorite!?
I partnered with Sheryl from Walk in Wonderland to show two ways to wear stripes. They’re so classic and it was fun to see her sophisticated take and my ‘relaxed’ version. I met Sheryl when I first moved to LA and love hearing her adventures in and around Los Angeles with her and her husband (who shoots most of all of her work). When she’s not enjoying spicy food in and around the LA hot spots, she travels with her husband and runs the successful blog Walk In Wonderland. Which I’ll mention, is worth your time to check out. Also follow her on IG, @walkinwonderland. I’m so thankful to have met so many creative people since moving to LA a year ago that inspire me daily! See also HERE where I styled stripes. Thank you Sheryl for coming on the blog. Who inspires you?

You all know I’m obsessed with my faux leather leggings. Lately, to switch it up, I added this wine colored cropped version. Here I styled it with a long vest, turtleneck and a belt to cinch the waist and tie it all together. If I was really feeling playful, I’d add black nikes for the ‘ol school run. What do you think? Do you prefer black or wine? See this post featuring my fave $30 black faux leather leggings.
2 Ways to Elevate your Look
1.Take care of your clothes – press and dry clean them. This may sounds simple, but it makes a huge difference in the long run. 2. Invest in the right accessories, for example, my turtleneck is $30, my belt is $450, priorities. I will get a lot of mileage out of the belt. I save on simple basics but splurge on right high end accessories that will elevate any all black or faux leather legging look.
Feel free to share your tips in the comments, happy Monday!
Ever since we moved to LA last January, I’ve been obsessed with old vintage cars. My favorite being the vintage Porsche 911. Amazing. I’m resolved to just stare from afar, or in this case, sit on this random orange Chevy as if it’s mine. I’m loving a pop of stripe to an overall basic outfit. If I wanted to switch it up, I’d add a black leather jacket, black boots, and a black bag. Basically, everyone needs a good striped blouse. Happy Monday!
It’s back to school this week, and although I’m feeling the pains of routine (i.e. getting the kids out the door by 8am), it’s good to be back. This winter, it’s all about upping your layering game. And apparently January in LA mandates all the layers as its been so chilly and wet. Here, I paired a bell sleeve sweater and studded military jacket with simple jeans and heels. I love that I could also pair this sweater with a black leather jacket for a black and gray look. Stylist tip: order one size up in sweaters or tees to get that cozy off-the-shoulder-look. And THANK YOU for entering the Jane Pope ring giveaway! If you missed it, you can still sign up till the 13th, details in this post. Happy Tuesday!
