Happy Humpday! Today I’m sharing 5 Fall favorites minus the pumpkin spice latte. I’m thinking low boots, faux fur details, and classic plaid. Can’t you just hear the leaves crunching beneath your boots? I’m a fan.

Few outfits are easier to put on than a wrap dress. Especially on vacation. This week has been slower, more (actual face) time and lots of gathering around food and friends. We rented a house on VRBO.com in Dana Point, with friends from Chicago. It wasn’t easy but we found one that slept 12, yes 12 people! Even though that is a large amount of people, the house had two levels and the beautiful kitchen was ultimately what sold me. I mean, I need that huge fridge at home. On this particular day trip, we visited Lido at Newport Beach and had lunch at Zinquè. We had our fill of almond milk mochas and breakfast sandwiches. Yum! I had no idea the awesome shopping to be had there, but leave it to our littles to cut the shopping time short with their cute voices begging “when are we going to the beach!?” We quickly packed into the cars and headed to Cliff Ave beach in Laguna. A hidden gem I wouldn’t be a friend if I didn’t share. It was all in all a beautiful day with friends, not laboring but enjoying the fruit of our labor with the friends we call family. What did you do?

Here’s what I wore to WHO WHAT WEAR’s fall preview in Hollywood. I may be partial, but they put on the best parties! I’m also partial to a pop of red (which you already knew if you’re following me on insta). This whole outfit is budget friendly, for instance my pants are $35! What are you up to this weekend? We’re excited to spend the long holiday at the beach with dear friends from Chicago. Can’t wait! Be sure to stop and savor this time with our loved ones.

I’m not sure what I love more, long summer nights sipping wine on the porch or awesome bodysuits I can’t stop wearing Monday through Saturday. I’ve been wearing this ruffled one so much so, its embarrassing. Even hubby made a comment! It’s chic with jeans, a skirt or pleated pants. Here, I’m wearing it with a linen trench, distressed jeans and fall’s must-have red boots. I’m linking some of my favorites below. Hope you have a lovely Monday!
A bodysuit is a summer must-have that easily transitions to fall. And did I mention a bodysuit with an interesting back is even better? Here are some of my favorites:
Red boots are fall’s stunner, get them before they sell out during NYFW. I love them with denim or a punch of color paired with a monochromatic look:
I love a lightweight trench for layering casual or dressy looks. It’s an easy way to look “pulled together” without trying too hard.
What are some of your favorite layers?
We have a busy season coming up with summer ending and school right around the corning. So this is the time to put on our favorite OOTD and hit the Art’s District for a leisurely walk around one of the most inspiring areas of Los Angeles. The area is thriving with old warehouses, murals and creative/
As for Nordstrom, well, who doesn’t love Nordstrom? Their customer service is five-star, and I seriously think that (along with their amazing merchandise selection) is what sets them apart from most retailers. I often go to Nordstrom with kids and a tight schedule and I’m always given the best service and the most options while my kids love getting balloons in the shoe department every. single. time. Whether I make it to the store or shop online, Nordstrom is my go-to for daily fashion and really should be for any busy mom on the go. I mean, I prefer dot com just to avoid the dressing room tantrums and constant “can we go” requests, but curb side service also works. All in all, Nordstrom makes it easy to get what you want, when you want it. So go find you some polka dots!

Date night should be extra special and this lace dress caught my eye since its a beige shade, a lot like my friend’s Mrs Self Portrait dress without the price tag. I like to skimp somewhere to splurge on the accessories like this JW Anderson bag. I love that this neutral ensemble can also be worn at a wedding. See more wedding inspiration here and here. What was your last Amazon prime order?
Bento lunch boxes for the kids peppermint oil, because I get really stiff neck and headaches, and tea.
What is the last tip your make-up artist, Lexi has given you.
Use highlighter on the bridge of your nose, center of your top lip, on your cheekbones, over the inner corners of your eyes, onto your brow bone, and center of your forehead. Lexi started using this highlighter on me.
What is the best and last diet tip you’ve shared?
Dandelion tea. It helps with water retention and I drink at least one cup a day.
Will you be sharing your workout routine?
Yes, Hubby and I will be sharing one soon, stay tuned! If you missed it, see a video on how I workout at the park!
Where do you like to go in Palm Springs?
The King’s Highway for breakfast (I get their granola and yogurt), the Ace pool to cool down, pink door house and I’m open to hearing my readers favorites?
What’s the address of the pink door house and this house with the lions?
Good question! 1100 E Sierra Way, Palm Springs, CA 92264
What did you have for breakfast at home?
Steel cut oatmeal, almond milk, raw honey, coffee and dandelion tea.
What’s a sample diet?

Did you always want a big family?
I always wanted 6 children, Reid wanted 3, and God gave us 4. I feel like I’ve won the lottery with them. We have some really long days, but they are a constant blessing.
What’s your best parenting advice, or what have you learned lately that has made momlife easier?
It’s threefold: a lot of affection, some outside time whether its scooters at the park, a ride around the block, and lots of good snacks sometimes makes or breaks a day.
With 4 kids you must have a lot of mess in your house?
Haha well, we have a chore chart they have to follow, I give rewards for cleaning and when in doubt, I ask them to take something upstairs and I count how long it takes – they love it, they’re really competitive and I get things done, lol.
How do you juggle your days as a busy mom and business owner?
Not every day is the same, some days I have a sitter all day for meetings and appointments or a photo shoot, some days like today, I’m home, we make breakfast, do chores, read and I catch up on emails and write my blog posts. With that said, its not without the cries, the troubles with sharing and the struggle to fit in a workout, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I was just telling Felicia my photographer how much I love working from home – from kissing the boo-boos, applying the 5th band aid, brewing my own coffee, writing, and sending emails and styling outfits. The latter is often done around midnight but hey it works.

It’s not right to wear black, or white, or creme to a wedding, you’re left with the question, what do you wear? Your friend may take it the wrong way if you’re competing with her white or you may look sad in black, however a set with multi colors and a blush heel seems to satisfy both crowds, the wedding party and yourself. I fell IN LOVE with these complementary colors and you will too. Though it works for a wedding, it can also do for date night, girls lunch, or a school fundraiser. It fits true to size, and for once, hubby loved my choice. I can’t wait to wear it to our friend’s wedding in September or next weekend. What’s your favorite weekend attire?

Lace dresses are such show stoppers in themselves you hardly need to stress over accessorizing them. Just add a cool hat, sunglasses and a colorful sandal. I chose blush sandal heels here but you can give them a sporty look with sneakers.
