I lived in paris for 3 months, and besides the hit my credit card took in those three months (yikes), I actually learned about just how the french dress. 1. don’t underestimate the power of red. My friend found this leather skirt second hand vintage. Looove. I also like red accessories like a red lip, red bag or red heels.
2. layer with a trench, I usually size down to get a more tailored look. I like this one and this one. Layer it over jeans and a tee for a laid back look.
3. no make up, no problem. When in doubt, sunnies are an easy way to polish a look.
4. don’t forget one luxury item: Hermès belt here or a luxury bag or shoes. I don’t mind pairing Levi’s, a cheap tee, and Chanel flats. Pas de problème.
