Below are some favorites from hair accessories to swim suits for an upcoming trip to Mexico. Which are your favorites?

I recently spent the day with Locale Magazine sharing some of my favorite Manhattan Beach places to stay, eat and shop! It was a fun non-stop day – think lots of outfit changes, and walking from shop to cafe. Thankfully, everything is so close and so quaint! I just love MB, friendly people, great shops and did I mention awesome views? Go get yourself a copy of the new issue – out now! Or see it digitally HERE.

We met up with our friends for a fun Cinco de Mayo party, think lots of Fanta, fresh guac, Corona and freshly squeezed lime. Did I mention fresh guac? We had pollo asado and carne asada, salsa, and were too full of fresh guacamole to entertain the thought of having dessert. I included the guacamole recipe below. All in all, it was a beautiful warm night of our littles serenading us on the mini guitars, piled high tacos, sugar highs, and sugar lows. Ultimately, we were so excited to have found a community of friends that makes California feel like we never left home.

Easter dress under $100 :: suede trench similar :: blush heels :: necklace :: lips :: sunnies :: foundation ::

Easter is Sunday, and you don’t have a lot of time to prepare, but you want something less than $100? Problem solved. Here, I wore a satin dress, suede trench and blush heels. I kept similar tones together and added a chic trench to add an overall polish. I like the idea of a dress I don’t spend a mini fortune on so I have more of a budget for shoes, a designer bag and not a mini heart attack over a coffee spill. Yes, I’m speaking from experience. I also put this outfit on my shop page, and down below. I mean, how cute is this gingham cold shoulder dress with a belt?

7 Dresses Under $100:

Gingham is not just for picnics. It’s a fun-loving easy-to style print that I love with jeans, white pants or skirts. For example, I’ve had this beautiful gingham wrap dress in my closet forever  but it was too short on me, but then in dawned on me, I could pair a fluted navy skirt underneath. Midnight styling sessions while the kids sleep really is paying off. However, the 7am alarm clock is a rude awakening. Thankfully, my in-laws arrive next week. Think lots of new fresh content and date nights. Can you tell I’m excited? See here and here how I styled gingham and shop my top 6 picks below.

Normally, we are battling the ice and snow right now. But here we’re being spoiled with mid sixty degree days. Helllloooo LA! Here I found an awesome texture coat from Cleobella that I’m in looooove with. It’s seriously just cotton and warm on chilly nights. So how to wear it? Balance the color and texture with an all black ensemble, small crossbody bag and pop of cobalt. And yes, I’ll be rocking it this weekend. What’s your weekend plans? We’ll spend the weekend unpacking boxes, visiting my cousin in Laguna, and looking for recipes to use with all those avocado and lemons from our backyard. Happy Weekend!
