Ever since we moved to LA last January, I’ve been obsessed with old vintage cars. My favorite being the vintage Porsche 911. Amazing. I’m resolved to just stare from afar, or in this case, sit on this random orange Chevy as if it’s mine. I’m loving a pop of stripe to an overall basic outfit. If I wanted to switch it up, I’d add a black leather jacket, black boots, and a black bag. Basically, everyone needs a good striped blouse. Happy Monday!

Ramp up your Basics

Ramp up your basics with a camel coat (3/4 sleeve), and updated heels. I’m loving these slouchy jeans and cashmere sweater both from Vince. I tend to gravitate towards classic pieces, like a stripe top and flattering jeans, because I’ll probably wear them more than I’d like to admit, and they never go out of style. You can’t beat the movement. I like to pair it simply – with classic jeans and chelsea boots. Don’t overthink it. Although I’m the queen of overthinking, I digress. A Pop of Red

The fastest way to the biggest impact with the littlest effort? A pop of red. If you hadn’t guessed already from my grams, this color is my secret sauce. Come fall, pair it with wine and don’t forget to layer on the denim. Some people have an immediate antipathy to red, and if this is you, take heart! There are so many shades of red out there now that you’re bound to find something that fits your coloring and/or skin-tone. Don’t write it off! If you still can’t manage it, then go check out the gobs of red accessories out there. Is it cliche to say that red is the new black? Cause it totally is.
